Coach Bob app for iPhone and iPad

I was very pleased with this application. I would like the ability to specify my rotation based on position preference (ie. Left of Right Field) Also would like to see line ups of 1:1:3:4:2 or 1:4:4:2

Best soccer coach app in the store. Simple interface during game time makes it work without missing game time. Would love to sub by specific position. Coach Pipchuk

This app is good. Just wish I could transfer info from iPad to iPhone.

Improves with each update. Id like to have the option of locking a player to a position, and increasing/decreasing play time for individual players game by game, while still using the auto functions.

I like the simple interface but we need more depth here. Need more details for each player and more position options. Like I said good start though.

This is a great idea for an app however it is very buggy and under developed. Save your money and wait for several updates before purchasing.

I wanted an app that was fast to configure and super easy to use on the field. This is. After you set up your players, you can let this thing automatically assign who plays where or you can do it yourself. Also, theres a cool screen (not the screen shot they show above) that lets you tick off each player as they arrive for a game ... EASILY. So when you are ready to assign positions, only those guys that actually made it to the game. Scoring is really easy and fast too. I had one problem with it, but the dev guy(s) responded almost same day with a fixed version. I think they are probably players themselves and wanting to share a tool they use. They seem to be VERY responsive to questions. Anyway, I recommend it ... its great for what I wanted.

I am a soccer coach...just got the app, it works great...I sent in some ideas a got a reply within an hour....since that conversation that tech is allowing me to send in more ideas for coachbob....get the app if your a coach

This is the first review Ive written. I was looking forward to this working but it just isnt working for me. It wont let me assign a keeper even though the position is open. That blows everything else it can do since the idea is to maintain stats and playing time during a game. I really wish it worked...or, had my three bucks back.

Im just a dad coaching youth soccer and am learning the game as I go. This app has been a huge help managing player substitutions. And, it is way more reliable than a parent on the sidelines with a clip board. Once you have it set up, it takes very little of your attention during the game to use it. My main purpose in buying it was to manage substitutions. For the age-level I coach, U9, we do mass substitutions, so when it is time to sub, I just push the button and it randomly assigns players to positions. Five minutes later, we do it again. Since they at so young, we encourage them to play all positions. It is easy, however, to retstrict a player (like your goalie) to a position until you decide to make a change. One important tip if you buy: Coach Bob is VERY EASY to use, but dont attempt to set it up 5 minutes before your first game. Set it up well in advance and play with it while you are at work or sitting on the couch. That way you wont be surprised/frustrated when you start the game. Same tip applies if there is an update. One update loaded a bunch of new features and I was stumbling a bit when the game started.
